Biography
Trudy is a professional educator and songleader. She's a Chicagoland native and holds a BS and MA in Communicative Disorders from Northwestern University and a Master Teacher Certificate from the Board of Jewish Education Morris Shapiro Institute.  She is a graduate of the Florence Melton Adult Program for Jewish Educators. She is also 20 year veteran facilitator for the Anti-Defamation League’s A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute.

Trudy is the Director of Education at Ezra Habonim Niles Township Jewish Congregation where she also serves as the Bet/Gimel class teacher.  She also continues to teach the Pre-Gan classroom at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park, IL, and to substitute for Evanston/Skokie School District #65.
 
Trudy served as the Director of Education at Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago for 10 years and at Niles Township Jewish Congregation for 5 years.  Prior to that, she worked with the Kohl Education Foundation in Wilmette as Director of Programs and Services for the Kohl Jewish Teacher Center.  She has presented numerous teacher in-services at education conferences throughout the United States and Canada. Trudy was a co-chairperson for the 2009 Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education Midwest Conference and served as President of the Midwest Region Jewish Educators Assembly.
